Been slacking on my blog posts, but not on my walking/running. Still been taking it slow, and haven't had any pain in the knees.
I just got back from an excellent backpacking trip. It was a total of 35 miles, and about 3-4k elevation gain. Since I had no knee problems, I went back to the couch to 5k week two run tonight.
It went well, no knee pain, no side stitches. I'll see how my knees feel tomorrow!

Don't forget the preventative icing! Try an icy cold stream if you have one nearby!
