I did a few new things tonight. I skipped to the week 3 podrunner mp3, playing on a new iPhone, with new bluetooth stereo headphones, and took a new path.I ended up going about a mile too far, when the podcast played the extended tones that signal that you are on the last section of the run. Oops! I turned around right then, but ended up walking about a mile extra on the way back because I misjudged how far I went.
I guess its a good thing, I didnt feel too tired or winded. I'll do the preemptive ice tonight (I'm icing coach!) and see how I feel tomorrow.
Dooooooood, you are out of control! Going a mile extra? Next thing you know, you're going to be doing fartleks, tempo runs, and filling up your closet with race shirts...
