Walking with pizza

This afternoon, I walked the trail at work again (1.4 mi) and this evening, I did another walk around my neighborhood (1.5 mi) There is a section of the path I take around my house that is a straight section of dirt/gravel trail, and since I was still feeling no pain, I decided to run that section. I was a little nervous about those first few jog steps, cause typically that was when the pain was worst. As I approached the dirt trail section, I started bracing myself for it...

No pain!

It was great! I think that was the first time I actually smiled while running. I made it to the end of the dirt section (which gmap pedometer records as .4 miles) jogging at a slow pace, and only had mild discomfort. I decided to take it easy, and walk the rest of the way to Papa Murphy's to grab a couple of pies for dinner. Its a short walk home from there.

If I'm not in agony tomorrow, I'll try this pace again, and see if I can add to it over a week.
