I skipped ahead again, then one step back.
I skipped to the week 6 podrunner, and during the intro, the DJ said "This wont be as grueling as the last podcast so..."
I stopped, and backed up to week 5 mix 3. It was a 5 minute warm up walk, a 20 minute run, then a 5 minute cool down walk.
The jump to 20 minutes of running with no intervals, was definitely an increase in difficulty! I think the longest running segment before tonight was 8 minutes.
It went well over all, though I was actually a couple minutes longer tonight overall than my last run.
It gave me a good feel for the 5k though.
I think I could have made it the whole 3.3 miles running, but it would have pushed my limits. I think I'll stay on track with the podcasts from this point on, and I'll be ready for the race.
